From the private lounge upstairs to the stage on the ground floor, each has its own mood and music rules.
La Lodge
A closed lounge, connected to the main room. House music only.
Le Boudoir
Its own bar, its own bartender, your music or your DJ. The only fully private space.
Le Fumoir
Bare brick, exposed pipework, barrel armchairs. A separate room adjoining Le Boudoir — the two are booked together.
The Ground Floor
The main room, its stage and its full sound system. Live music possible.
The whole of La Machine
Every floor, the stage, the full sound system. The building is yours.
Beyond 150
For groups beyond our capacity, we coordinate with the neighbouring venues of the Saint-Géry block.

Afterwork — 2 hours of unlimited drinks
The team format: one all-inclusive price per person that fits a single budget line.

- Arrival between 4 pm and 8 pm on weekdays, at 4 pm or 5 pm at the weekend. The two hours run from the time you arrive.
- Extra hour: +€9 (Essentiel) or +€15 (Premium). One only — never beyond three hours.
- Worth adding: sharing platters from the artisans of the Marché Saint-Géry, from €55 per platter for 4 to 6 people.
- Where: Le Boudoir for 20 to 35 · the rear of the ground floor for 35 to 50 · the whole ground floor for 50 to 100. Minimum 20 guests in Le Boudoir, 35 on the ground floor.

On the ground floor at the weekend, we offer the Premium afterwork instead — a price per person known in advance, with no minimum to reach, from 4 pm to 7.30 pm.

The terms
Terms
- All amounts are exclusive of VAT. The minimum spend is measured against the pre-VAT value of what is consumed.
- Payment in three parts: one third of the quote on booking — the date is only held once it reaches us —, one third no later than 8 days before the event, the balance on site on the day. The first third is non-refundable.
- Cancellation: more than 30 days out, the deposit is retained · 30 to 14 days, 50% of the minimum · less than 14 days, 100%. Free postponement is possible beyond 30 days, subject to availability.
- Invoicing: invoice issued within 48 hours.
- Catering: orders confirmed 7 days before.
- Music: only Le Boudoir allows your own music or your DJ. La Lodge and Le Fumoir play the house music. The ground floor also allows live music.

By public transport
Metro Sainte-Catherine, De Brouckère and Bourse; trams and buses at the edge of the square. The district is easily walked : Brussels Central station is a quarter of an hour away on foot.
By car
The Saint-Géry district is a low-traffic pedestrian zone. Plan for one of the city-centre public car parks ; we point you to the most convenient one for your timing when we send your quote.

What we are asked most often, answered once and for all.
How many guests do we need to book ?
La Lodge is hired privately from around twenty guests, Le Boudoir from twenty for an afterwork, and masterclasses start at eight participants. Beyond 150, we organise the event together with our neighbours in the Saint-Géry market.
What is the difference between an afterwork and a private hire ?
An afterwork is a price per person known in advance, drinks included for two hours — there is no amount to reach. A private hire is based on a minimum spend, fully offset against what you consume on the night.
Does the bar stay open to the public during our event ?
It depends on the space. Le Boudoir, La Lodge and Le Fumoir are separate rooms, reserved for your group. On the ground floor, however, an afterwork is not a private hire: the bar keeps trading around you. To close the ground floor, you need a private hire.
What happens if we don’t reach the minimum ?
The minimum is a floor, not a flat fee: you only pay for what you consume, and if that stays below the minimum, the difference is invoiced. In practice, a group that stays the evening almost always goes past it.
Can we hire the ground floor privately on a Friday or Saturday ?
No — on those two nights we offer the Premium afterwork instead, which works out cheaper for your group for the same evening. The whole of La Machine, on the other hand, can be hired any day, weekends included.
Can we bring our own music or our own DJ ?
Only Le Boudoir allows it. La Lodge and Le Fumoir play the house music. The ground floor additionally allows live music, on its stage.
Is there a sound system and something to project onto ?
Yes. The professional sound system and the stage are already in place. Microphone, projector and screen are available as options, with a sound engineer if your evening calls for one.
How does the catering work ?
We work with the artisans of the Saint-Géry market, thirty metres away : boards, platters and per-person menus. Orders are confirmed seven days before the event.
Can we add a cocktail workshop to an evening ?
Yes — a masterclass can be added to an afterwork, a private hire or a seminar day. Allow about an hour and a half for the workshop, and plan for four hours on site if it comes before an afterwork.
When is the date actually held ?
When the first third of the quote reaches us, not when you enquire. Until that deposit is paid, the date stays open to other requests.
Are the spaces accessible to everyone ?
The bar occupies several floors : La Lodge is upstairs, Le Boudoir and Le Fumoir are in the basement, both reached by stairs. Tell us if anyone in your group needs step-free access — we will arrange how we welcome and seat you accordingly.
Can we hold a seminar during the day ?
Yes — the ground floor is hired by the half day or the full day, bar closed, on the 9 am–1 pm and 1 pm–5 pm slots. One day, one client.
