Data protection
Data controller
CHAMPAUDITIF SRL, Place Saint-Géry 2-3, 1000 Brussels, company number BE 0871.306.656. For any question about your data: [email protected].
What we collect, and why
- Quote requests, bookings and messages sent through the site’s forms: name, e-mail, phone if you give it, date, number of guests and event details. We use them to reply to you, prepare your event and invoice it (performance of a contract or of pre-contractual steps at your request).
- Card guarantee for a booking: payment details are entered with our payment provider, Stripe; we neither see nor keep your card number. The card stays registered with Stripe until your evening, so that the charge set out in our terms can be made if you do not come (€15 per absent guest). Nothing is charged when you register it, and no charge is automatic: someone on the team decides, after the evening.
- Waiting list: if you ask to be told when a lounge frees up three days before your date, we keep your date, your group size and your contact details until that date, to write to you on the day.
- After your evening: we may write to you once to ask what you thought, with a single reminder. You are never signed up to a newsletter.
- Audience measurement: the Meta pixel only loads after you accept it in the cookie banner. We also measure site traffic with Plausible, without cookies and without data that identifies you (legitimate interest).
Who has access
The La Machine team, and the providers that run the site and let us reply to you: Cloudflare (hosting of the site and forms), Microsoft (e-mail), Resend (confirmation e-mails), Telegram (internal notification of new requests), Stripe (payment), Billit (invoicing), Meta (audience measurement, with your consent). We sell no data.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, including in the United States. These transfers rely on the safeguards set by the GDPR (adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).
How long
We keep your data for as long as it takes to handle your request and your event, and, for invoicing, for as long as our accounting and tax obligations require.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or port your data, and object to its processing, by writing to [email protected]. You can withdraw your consent to audience measurement at any time from the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels (dataprotectionauthority.be).
