La Machine · Saint-Géry · Brussels
A dance bar in the heart of Brussels, on Place Saint-Géry
On some Saturdays, a DJ takes over the decks on La Machine’s ground floor, from 11 pm to 4 am, and entry is free. People dance at the foot of the stage, on the dance floor, in the middle of the house’s steampunk setting: gears, copper, a steam organ and a winged creature on the ceiling.
La Machine is a cocktail bar that opened in 2016 on Place Saint-Géry, a step away from the Bourse. On Fridays and Saturdays, service runs until 4 am.

The ground floor, for dancing
The dance floor lies at the foot of the slightly raised stage, with the DJ booth right next to it: that is where the Saturday DJs set up, with their decks.
On other nights the house playlist is on, and now and then a concert or a special night is scheduled: everything is announced in the listings.

Dancing as a group
A birthday, a night out with friends, a group that wants to dance: from 8 guests, book a table in the bar. On Fridays and Saturdays, that is up to 15 guests, arriving by 10:30 pm at the latest.
From 30 guests, on a Friday or Saturday, your group can reserve a space on the ground floor on a minimum spend and on request: up to the back of the ground floor — the stage and the dance floor — together with La Lodge, for 100 guests. If you bring your own DJ, they play in the DJ booth next to the dance floor.
For a night that is yours alone, Le Boudoir, in the basement, is available for private hire with its own bar and its own bartender: it is the room where you play your own music, over Bluetooth or with your DJ, and the home of the karaoke.
