Trappist beers
A Trappist beer is brewed within the walls of a Trappist abbey, under the supervision of its community. The menu has beers from four Belgian abbeys: Westmalle, with the Tripel and the Extra, Orval, Rochefort, with the 10, and Chimay, with the Bleue.
Gueuze and lambic
Lambic is a spontaneously fermented beer, born in Brussels and the Senne valley. Gueuze is a blend of young and old lambics that referments in the bottle. Two on the menu: the gueuze from Cantillon, the Anderlecht brewery, and Boon’s Oude Gueuze, from Lembeek.
Brussels breweries
Several beers on the menu are brewed in Brussels: those of Brasserie de la Senne — Taras Boulba, Zinnebir, Jambe-de-Bois —, those of Brussels Beer Project — Delta IPA, Jungle Joy, Juice Junkie and the alcohol-free Delta Zero — and the gueuze from Cantillon.
